The Nordlys Frax 1540 is a fractional laser used to resurface and rejuvenate the skin. The infrared laser energy emitted by Frax 1540 targets the water in your surface skin cells, vaporizing them. Fractional laser treatments are non-ablative. That is because the laser beam is fractionated, or broken up into tiny fractions, which target only 25% to 40% of the skin, hastening your recovery time.
HOW DOES PROFHILO WORK?
Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated. Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.
How many treatments do I need and when will I see results?
It is recommended to have 2 sessions (one month apart) to achieve the maximum results. However, if the skin problems are severe, a third session can be done 2 months after the second session. In order to maintain the results, one treatment session is advised every 6 months. Results are usually seen 2-3 weeks after the first session.
